Christy Friedgram Industry Private Limited is one among the pioneer food processing companies in India to implement the Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) scheme. Founded in 1989, it is the flagship enterprise of the Christy Group, a growth oriented philanthropic conglomerate. In fact, CFIPL is the first brick in the establishment and formation of the Christy group- an INR700 Crore megacorp.
CFIPL started operations a few years after the first ICDS scheme was announced in Tamil Nadu by the honourable ex-Chief Minister, Shri M. G. Ramachandran in 1982.
